Day 8 of my Isle of Dogs Challenge - Mudchute Farm

I was so busy last week getting my prints page ready on my website and adding a few more digital images that I haven’t posted for a few days about my Isle of Dogs challenge.

I have still been out and about taking photos though and I have two more days to edit and sort. Last week I went down to Mudchute Park and Farm. Like so many of the days recently it was very grey so I had no nice skies to work with. However, there were loads of interesting views to capture despite that. I thought the farm would be closed due to lockdown, and it was, but there was still plenty of space to walk around and you could still see quite a few of the animals.

This image I’ve posted today is similar to one that I’d seen in the past from another photographer (I can’t remember who, to credit them) and I wondered if I’d be able to recreate it. My luck was in! There were a few sheep grazing in just the right part of the field.

This is a lovely large park to walk in and you’re never sure what you’re going to see around the corner.

I’m only going to post this one image today because I’m heading out early to capture some twilight photos tonight. I will come back and post some others from the farm tomorrow though along with my map update.

It’s starting to feel just a little bit Christmassy since we’ve put up some Christmas lights today on the 1st December. A few more will follow in the next few days and we’ll hopefully go and get our tree this coming weekend.

Stay safe for now.
