A Peaceful Autumn Scene on Regents Canal
Looking through my photos today, my eye caught this one, taken just a short while ago in September. It’s such a peaceful scene, taken at sunset, on the Regents canal near Little Venice. It feels just right for the moment when most of us are feeling a bit frazzled at the thought of another lockdown.
I’ve already made my plans so I won’t be short of things to do. I’ll be combining exercise with taking photos (something I didn’t get my act together on last time!) and I signed up for a new course on art marketing last night. It’ll be quite intensive so that’ll take care of any spare time I might have had. It’ll also add another level of Zoom contacts into my life so I feel as if I have enough human contact even if it might not be the face to face contact I’d prefer.
I’m starting a 5 day challenge today to get out for twilight/night photography every day this week. This’ll make me toughen up a bit as well since a rucksack full of gear isn’t light and I won’t be taking public transport, only walking. The wind has been whistling outside all morning so I’ll have to be prepared for whatever weather I get. If I get anything I can share, I’ll show it tomorrow. If not, I’ll look through my files for another calm scene.
I hope you also have some exciting/time consuming/comforting/energising/productive (delete or substitute as you wish) plans for the weeks ahead! x
